We hope you’re having a wonderful summer so far! All of us at The Meemic Foundation are keeping busy looking for ways to help you – the educational community!

Here are some things we’ve got going or have in the planning stages.

Fore! Education Golf Outing

Our sixth annual golf fundraiser is coming up quick: August 2 at Indianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, MI. Take in 18 holes on this beautiful, championship course. The golfer registration fee includes breakfast, 18 holes with cart (on their “new” course), a BBQ lunch on the course and afterglow appetizers.

There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities available, as well. You can treat a teacher to a round of golf, sponsor a hole or support other activities.

You may also get the chance to hobnob with 2022-23 Michigan Teacher of the Year Nanette Hanson or one of the Michigan Regional Teachers of the Year.

And 100% of the proceeds will be used to support education through our grant programs.

Meemic Foundation Wellness Package

For our third quarterly grant this year, The Meemic Foundation has teamed up with Yoga Ed. again to award 100 selected schools or school districts with certified online training in chair yoga and mindfulness practices for three staff members and access to over 500 online yoga and mindfulness classes for three specific classrooms for one year.

Mindfulness and mental health are top of mind these days, and this is a wonderful opportunity to share practical techniques with staff and students in the new school year.

To apply, simply log in to your Foundation Club account and nominate a school or school district of your choice. Encourage your colleagues to join the club and make their nominations, too.

Deadline to apply is Sept. 30. Find out more details at

Save the Date: Meemic Masterpieces Virtual Art Gallery

Earlier this year, The Meemic Foundation held its annual Meemic Masterpieces art and video contest. In September, you’ll be able to see just how creative our winners were with a month-long celebration and online art gallery.

This year’s safety themes inspired some incredible works of art and several engaging videos, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
