Any institution that identifies as a preschool must be part of a public school district and/or must have accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to be eligible. Only Foundation Club Members are eligible to apply. The entry option to nominate yourself and your qualified educational institution is limited to Foundation Club Members who are currently employed in qualified educational institutions. Nominated Foundation Club Members, educators, administrators and school employees must be currently employed at an eligible education institution to be eligible. Only one entry per Foundation Club Member. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 31, 2021. The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.
  
HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period from October 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021, complete the official application form on The Meemic Foundation website or send your name, complete home address, phone number, email address and the name of the qualified educational institution nominated by you to the following address: The Meemic Foundation, ATTN: Scholastic Book Fairs Promotion, 1685 N. Opdyke Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326, and you will be entered.  You do not need to be a Member of Meemic Insurance Company to enter. However, you must either reside in one of the above listed states or be actively employed at a qualified educational institution, except residents of New York and Florida are not eligible to enter. All entries become the property of The Meemic Foundation and will not be returned or otherwise acknowledged. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry. A purchase will not improve an individual’s chances of winning with such entry. Employees of The Meemic Foundation and Meemic Insurance Company, their affiliates, their sales agents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or illegible entries, or entries not received by the promotion deadline.

RANDOM DRAWING, ODDS OF WINNING AND NOTIFICATION: There will be twenty-nine (29) winners selected. Entries will be divided by state. Within each of these states, the winners will be randomly selected in total based on the ratio of entries received in each state to total overall entries. Only one winner per school. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
All applicants will be notified of the status of their official application by email on Monday, January 17, 2022.

The random drawing will be for a preselected collection of 304 books for the K-6 grade readers valued up to three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500) and donated in the name of the winner directly to their nominated educational institution. The prize shall be delivered to the nominated educational institution no later than March 1, 2022.
 
If the winner has nominated himself or herself to receive the prize, the prize will be provided to the school at which the winner is employed, as indicated in the winner’s Foundation Club profile. If the winner is no longer employed at the school indicated in his or her Foundation Club profile, the prize will be provided to the school indicated in his or her Foundation Club profile, unless there is an agreement between the principals and/or school leaders of the school indicated in the winner’s Foundation Club profile and the school at which the winner is currently employed to transfer the prize to the school at which the winner is currently employed. If the winner is no longer employed at a qualified educational institution, if the school is no longer in existence, or if the school does not respond to The Meemic Foundation’s inquiries regarding acceptance of the prize within 10 days of the announcement date, the prize will be automatically forfeited and a new winner will be selected by random drawing.
 
If the winner has nominated an educator or school to receive the prize, the prize will be provided to the school indicated in the winner’s nomination application. If the educator is no longer employed at a qualified educational institution, if the school is no longer in existence, or if the school does not respond to The Meemic Foundation’s inquiries regarding acceptance of the prize within 10 days of the announcement date, the prize will be automatically forfeited, and a new winner will be selected by random drawing.
 
There will be twenty-nine (29) total prizes awarded. One prize per winner. Each prize consists of preselected collection of 304 books for the K-6 grade readers valued up to three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500) per winner. Winners will be notified via email or phone call within 30 business days from drawing date. The prize will be automatically forfeited if the winner does not confirm that he or she has won within thirty days after being notified via email or phone call. Winners will be required to sign a name and liability release. In the event of non-compliance with any applicable requirement, or if a winner cannot be contacted or is deemed ineligible, the prize will be automatically forfeited by the winner and a new winner will be selected. 

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:  A total of 304 preselected collection of library-bound, hard-cover, and paperback K-6 grade books from Scholastic Book Fairs. Approximate retail value not to exceed three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500).
Prize details and availability are subject to change. In the event a prize is unavailable, The Meemic Foundation reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, except in Georgia.
  
PRIVACY NOTICE: Sponsor (The Meemic Foundation) collects personal data when you enter this Promotion. Entering the Promotion online, or by putting your entry form into the entry box, constitutes your permission for the Sponsor and its associated companies to maintain the data. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like online entry methods will void all such entries affected by such methods. If, for any reason, the online portion of the Promotion is compromised by reason of tampering or technical failure, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the online portion of the Promotion and select winners from all eligible mail-in and online entries received prior to and/or after (if any) the action taken by Sponsor.
