Home schools are not eligible. Home schools are defined as a building that also serves as a private residence and or serves less than 50 students. Any institution that identifies as a preschool must be part of a public school district and/or must have accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to be eligible. Only Foundation Club Members are eligible to apply. The entry option to nominate yourself and your qualified educational institution is limited to Foundation Club Members who are currently employed in qualified educational institutions. Nominated Foundation Club Members, educators, administrators and school employees must be currently employed at an eligible education institution to be eligible. Only one entry per Foundation Club Member. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2022. The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.
  
HOW TO ENTER:  During the Promotion Period October 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, complete the official application form on The Meemic Foundation website or send your name, complete home address, phone number, email address and the name of the qualified educational institution nominated by you to the following address: The Meemic Foundation, ATTN: 4th Quarter 2022 Promotion, 1685 N. Opdyke Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326, and you will be entered.  You do not need to be a Member of Meemic Insurance Company to enter. However, you must either reside in one of the above listed states or be actively employed at a qualified educational institution, except residents of New York and Florida are not eligible to enter. All entries become the property of The Meemic Foundation and will not be returned or otherwise acknowledged. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry. A purchase will not improve an individual’s chances of winning with such entry. Employees of The Meemic Foundation and Meemic Insurance Company, their affiliates, their sales agents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or illegible entries, or entries not received by the promotion deadline.

RANDOM DRAWING, ODDS OF WINNING AND NOTIFICATION: There will be 10 winners selected. Entries will be divided by state. For the state of Michigan, 7 winners will be randomly selected.   For Georgia, Illinois and Wisconsin, 1 winner will be randomly selected for each of these three states.
Only one winner per school. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Applicants will be notified of the status of their grant application on February 14, 2023 (“announcement date”). 

During the eligibility verification process, the 10 winning finalists will be contacted by The Meemic Foundation on or about Monday January 9, 2023, by email and/or phone using the information in their Meemic Foundation club member account profile or on entry cards mailed in.  Finalists in conjunction with their nominated educational institution will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and a liability release form and/or submit other documents, including, but not limited to, tax documents, by Friday, January 20, 2023, or their prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected at the discretion of The Meemic Foundation. In the event of non-compliance with any applicable requirement, or if a winner cannot be contacted or is deemed ineligible, the prize will be automatically forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected at the discretion of The Meemic Foundation. 

After the 10 winning finalists have been confirmed, all applicants will be notified of the status of their official application by email on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. 
 
The random drawing will be for up to Ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000) to be used for Lakeshore Flex-Space furniture and its delivery (if applicable) to be used to enhance their media room or reading area, donated in the name of the winner directly to the qualified educational institution.  This may include but is not limited to design assistance, Flex-Space furniture, and where feasible, installation at the winning qualified educational institution.  The prize is donated in the name of the winner directly to the designated educational institution and shall be installed on a mutually agreed date between The Meemic Foundation and the designated educational institution no later than December 31, 2023.  Approximate retail value: $10,000. Prize will be provided to each winner's school for this expressed purpose.

There will be 10 total prizes awarded.  Each prize consists of up to Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to be used for Lakeshore Flex-Space furniture and its delivery (if applicable) per winner.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:  Lakeshore Flex-Space furniture. Approximate Retail Value not to exceed $10,000.00.   
 
Winners and the winning qualified educational institution may be required by The Meemic Foundation to participate in photo and/or video sessions.  Winner agrees to make him/herself available for publicity purposes including, but not limited to, photo and/or video sessions and public appearances without charge.  Winner will also obtain permissions, clearances and/or releases as may be required from the winning school to participate in such photo and/or video sessions. 

If the winner has nominated himself or herself to receive the prize, the prize will be provided to the school at which the winner is employed, as indicated in the winner’s Foundation Club profile. If the winner is not employed at a qualified educational institution, if the school is no longer in existence, or if the school does not respond to The Meemic Foundation’s inquiries regarding acceptance of the prize by Friday, January 20, 2023, the prize will be automatically forfeited and a new winner will be selected by random drawing.
 
If the winner has nominated an educator or school to receive the prize, the prize will be provided to the school indicated in the winner’s nomination application. If the educator is no longer employed at a qualified educational institution, if the school is no longer in existence, or if the school does not respond to The Meemic Foundation’s inquiries regarding acceptance of the prize by Friday, January 20, 2023, the prize will be automatically forfeited and a new winner will be selected by random drawing.
