James Mayefske has been a professional insurance agent since graduating from UW-Madison in 1982 with a degree in economics. For the past 30-plus years, he has sold personal lines insurance, including auto, home, umbrella and life insurance.
 
He is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, having grown up in Mishicot, a small town in Manitowoc county, and now living in the Green Bay area for the past 20-plus years. He and his wife, Lori, have two grown sons and are looking forward to grandchildren someday.
 
He volunteers his time for the Greater Green Bay Chamber as an Ambassador, for which he attends ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings to support new businesses in the area. He is also a member of the Green Bay Preble Optimist Club, which supports many youth groups in the community. The local Boy Scout troop where his sons became Eagle Scouts still get his attention during the year as well.
 
As a Civil War re-enactor, he belongs to the 2nd Wisconsin Voluntary Infantry Association and does living history events and school presentations throughout Wisconsin and nationally.
He looks forward to meeting you and using his insurance experience to help with your insurance needs.
