Since 1950, Meemic has been serving and celebrating the educational community. As we’ve grown, we’ve built our own community, and we wanted to share some the reasons why we think Meemic is great and just what makes us tick.
Meemic employees donated 23 food baskets filled with nonperishable food items, toys, gift certificates and all the trimmings to create the perfect Thanksgiving dinner. The baskets went to families from Walt Whitman Elementary in Pontiac, MI.
Meemic Insurance donated two salvaged vehicles to automotive repair programs at two Ann Arbor Public Schools. Representatives from the Gordon Group Agency in Ann Arbor were on hand as a Hyundai Elantra went to Pioneer High School, and a Dodge Charger went to Huron High School.
We hope everyone had a safe and fruitful (or candyful) night of trick-or-treating! The folks here at Meemic sure were ready. (Thanks to John Ploskonka Insurance Agency for the jack o' lantern photo.
Thirty-two people from Meemic (employees and their families) participated in the Making Strides of Oakland County walk for breast cancer awareness and research on Oct. 27. Team Meemic raised $548 on a chilly, rainy morning.
The “Big Game” came, and Meemic employees showed their team colors. Big-time local rivals Michigan Football and Michigan State Football got the bulk of the love, but there were some other colleges in there, too.
Meemic would like to offer a hearty congratulations to Heather Duenas, the winner of this year’s Meemic Insurance Company Scholarship for Teacher Education at Oakland University in Rochester, MI.
