In 1992, the Meemic Foundation was founded with the sole mission to provide financial support in the pursuit of education excellence for our schools. Over the years, the Meemic Foundation has had the honor to provide funding for thousands of amazing programs for exceptional educators. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Foundation. We are celebrating this momentous occasion by funding our largest grant round ever - $200,000 will be available to fund back-to-school needs for more than 1,000 classrooms and schools!
Back-to-School Grant – For Your Classroom
Prepare your classroom for the upcoming 2017-18 school year with a Meemic Foundation Back-to-School grant.
It’s easy to apply! Just three simple questions. And if your application is accepted, you’ll receive $100 to use exclusively through our Office Depot® grant fulfilment website. Applications are due by May 31, 2017, with winners announced by July 7. The grant funding must be used by October 31, 2017.
Back-to-School Grant – For Your School
Schools are in need of funding to prepare for the new school year, too! Nominate a school for a Meemic Foundation Back-to-School grant.
Nominate your current school, your child's school, a former school you attended or a local school in need to receive $1,000 in funding that can be used for back-to-school needs for the entire school! Foundation Club members can nominate any eligible school in Michigan, Wisconsin or Illinois. Through our partnership with Office Depot®, this grant program will provide up to $1,000 that can be used by the school principal for the school’s back-to-school needs. The grant funding must be used exclusively through our Office Depot® grant fulfillment website. Applications are due by May 31, 2017, with winners announced by July 7. Grant funding must be used by October 31, 2017.
