Milwaukee Schools Receive Meemic Grants
Rusty Bronson of North Shore Educators Insurance Agency in Milwaukee, WI, recently presented several Meemic Foundation grants.
Kaitlynn Radloff at Lincoln Center of the Arts Middle School in Milwaukee will buy tools to enhance the school’s ceramic arts program.
Bekka Akin of Burdick School in Milwaukee will enhance the hands-on science kits for her second and third grade classes. They’ll cover rocks, elements, minerals and planets.
Melissa Prast, a teacher at Pierce Elementary School in Milwaukee, will purchase books that coincide with Melissa’s plan to create a literacy themed unit that infuses reading with curriculum from areas of science and social studies.
Jessica Deibel of Trowbridge School of Discovery and Technology in Milwaukee will participate in some professional development to help her students with autism.
