Mike Macy is the agent-owner of the Macy Insurance Agency Inc., a second-generation family-owned business.  The Macy family has been serving the educational community in the greater Waterford, Clarkston, Lake Orion and Oxford areas for more than 40 years. As the husband and son of teachers, Mike understands the importance of education and is deeply committed to supporting schools and educators. The Macy Agency has earned its reputation for exceptional customer service and strives to exceed customers’ expectations for quality, friendly and timely service. Agency Principal

Mike Macy Mike is the agent-owner of the Macy Insurance Agency Inc. Mike grew up with his parents, both teachers, owning Meemic agencies. He purchased their agencies and has been serving his loyal clients with pride since 2005. Mike’s wife, Meghan, is also a teacher, so he truly understands the needs of the educational community. He is known for going above and beyond to meet clients’ needs and support the schools in his community.  For Mike, this is more than just business; it’s personal. He is thankful for his loyal customers and looks forward to continuing his family’s legacy of exceptional customer service and honest insurance advice.

Staff

Teri Tokan Teri is Macy Insurance Agency’s Client Services Representative and Oxford Location Manager. Teri has been with our company since 2005 and in the insurance industry since 1999. Teri is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance with the State of Michigan. She lives in Clarkston, is active in her church and serves as the advisor for the church’s youth group.

Christina Overton Christina is Macy Insurance Agency’s Client Services Representative and Marketing Manager. Christina joined the company in 2009 and started in the insurance industry in 2002 working for another Meemic agent. She has also worked for Meemic’s Headquarters and for an independent commercial lines insurance agency. Christina is licensed in Property and Casualty, and Life and Health Insurance with the State of Michigan. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University, lives in Rochester Hills with her husband, and enjoys local and professional sporting events.

Mimi Shutt Mimi is Macy Insurance Agency’s Client Services Representative. Mimi started working with our company in 2006 and began her career in insurance in 1983. She worked at Meemic Headquarters from 1988-2001 and sold Life and Heath Insurance Products from 2001-2003. She is licensed in Property and Casualty, and Life and Health Insurance with the State of Michigan. Mimi lives in Waterford with her husband and daughter. Not pictured: Amy Powell, Dana Klooster
