Agency Principal

Dan Gentner Dan Gentner is a second generation Meemic agent, taking over for his father, Charlie, who founded the Gentner Insurance Agency in 1980. Dan comes from a family of educators. His father was a former computerized accounting teacher at the Tuscola Technology Center in Caro, and his mother was the school librarian at Mayville Community Schools. Dan has worked full-time at the Gentner Insurance Agency since 2013, holding titles of account representative, office manager and vice president. Dan is licensed in property, casualty and life insurance. He is a graduate of Mayville High School and earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan University. His wife, Raeann, is a school social worker. They are proud parents to their children, Hudson and Grayce. In his free time, Dan enjoys fishing, hunting and camping with his friends and family.

Staff

Susan Atkerson Susan Atkerson is a licensed property, casualty and life insurance agent who joined our agency in 2015. Susan is a graduate of Millington High School and Tuscola Technology Center. She attended Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University with training in business and accounting. She is married to Brent, and they are proud parents of Kevin, Carly and Lauren, and grandparents to Adalynn and Larsen. In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends while sitting around a campfire.
