Grossbauer Agency

After 13 years as president of his own company selling ambulances and other emergency vehicles, Mark Grossbauer decided to build on his connections with the educational community by opening his own Meemic agency.

Over the years, Mark has been very involved in his community and schools as a youth sports coach, Central Montcalm School Board member and Montcalm County School Board Association Executive Committee member, among other committees and boards. He also serves on the Sheridan Community Hospital Advisory Board. His wife, Tina, was a 26-year veteran first-grade teacher at Central Montcalm Elementary prior to her retirement. She has now joined Mark as the agency office manager. Their daughter, Maddie, is a kindergarten teacher for Ionia Public Schools. Their son, Mason, has completed an associate's degree and will be pursuing a business management degree at Davenport University.

Mark is also a veteran of the Navy, where he trained as a hospital corpsman and field medic, and served during the Gulf War with his Reserve Marine Corps unit. He studied safety and human resource management at Grand Valley State University.
