- Eligible employees can contribute to their retirement income by setting aside up to 25% of their annual salary on a pre-tax basis, into various investment vehicles through Principal Financial Group starting the first day of employment. MEEMIC matches employee contributions by 50% of the 1st 5% after the 1st of the quarter following 6 months of service. This match will be vested immediately. Eligible employees will receive 3% of their annual pay earned in the plan year, at the end of each plan year. Company may choose to contribute an annual profit sharing of up to 6 1/2% at the end of each plan year. Profit sharing vests over 5 years. No waiting period for qualified rollovers. Loans available.
